Leren Voyj kȧm ewra yȧ Es.
To let words come out of your ass.
Obviously not an idiom for polite conversation. When apologizing (very informally)
for having said something you didn't mean, one would say:
Soi, jan hew.
Sorry, wrong hole.
(My language has changed a bit since the last post.)

The idea is to post an idiom for the next person to do.

Kind of a funny phrase, since only 1/5th of the Chuj population is literate, but...
şawoma klusewaghā [ʃaβɯma ɬusɛβaɣæ] realized in the main dialect as [ʂaβɯmaxə lusɛβaxə]
"To write to Klusewa", Klusewa being a large city that has been populated by the peasant caste. It has the connotation that you have to 'degrade' yourself to communicate with them. It also carries the meaning of a futile task.
çuyi klusewaghā [ɕuji lusɛβaxə] "To speak to Klusewa" has a similar meaning, of having a degraded form of speech. Also considered a futile endeavor
Next Phrase: To be out of your element
