How much does your Iberian have to do with the historical, but poorly understood, Iberian language of ancient Spain?

In-universe, it's a novel Afro-Asiatic branch (most closely related to Berber), which established itself in Iberia and developed into Tartessos/Tarshish, but had some significant and intimate contact with OTL Iberian, to the point of borrowing extensively (most of which I've had to make up, since jack shit is known about Iberian. I did have the -mi genitive mutate into an ergative marker, though...crap that reminds me I haven't done genitives yet >:| )
