Thanks! It's unlike anything I'm familiar with. For some reason, I get hints of Indian languages, but I don't know if that's really accurate at all. Is there any particular aesthetic you're aiming for?

It was not inspired as a whole by any particular language or language group, but aspects of it are; its use of pronominal prefixes on verbs, perfect versus imperfect TAM, construct state (for which nouns are not marked as definite or have case endings), pronominal enclitics (to express objects on verbs, possessors on nouns, objects on prepositions, and independent pronouns with person/number on dummy stems), its marking of definiteness on both nouns and adjectives (which must agree),and derivation to express voice are inspired by Semitic, its use of schwa epenthesis is inspired by Berber, its use of "compound verbs" (i.e. light verb plus verbal noun which each express perfect versus imperfect) to express more complex tenses/aspects and is coexistence of singular/plural number and collective/singulative number (with the possibility of making singulative numbers plural, to express the "plural of paucity") are inspired by Arabic in particular. But at the same time the overall language is not attempting to emulate Semitic or Berber, i.e. it has limited templatic morphology (with the only ablaut being in some verb stems to mark perfect versus imperfect versus imperative), is primarily agglutinative, makes frequent use of a combination of prepositions and relational nouns, and has a phonology that is essentially stemming from an attempt to make an alphabetlang with both a reasonable-looking but not overly boring orthography and phonology (i.e. not simply mapping letters of the basic Latin script onto their equivalent IPA, but at the same time not doing anything odd-looking like mapping "consonant" letters onto vowels). Its case system is not inspired in particular by any language but rather is of little functional load, primarily serving to distinguish subject from object, construct from definite or indefinite nouns, and adjectives from adverbs, and much of the functional load taken on by more complex case systems is instead taken on by prepositions and relational nouns.

It doesn't look like any language I know of.

Interrogative words

The interrogative word xa can also be used as a pronoun. In the masculine is used to mean who, where, and when, distinguished by context, and in the feminine it used to mean what.
