Any conlangs with non-Latin natural scripts?

Substantial postings about constructed languages and constructed worlds in general. Good place to mention your own or evaluate someone else's. Put quick questions in C&C Quickies instead.

Talarian uses (inter alia) a modified cuneiform syllabary.

Loucarian uses a Coptic-Greek alphabet.

I've used (Germanic) runes on occasion for some early conlangs. Avantimannish borrows some Turkic as well as Germanic runeforms.

I've been using Arabic and Aramaic/Hebrew for a few sketches I've been knocking around. Perso-Arabic seems well-suited to one unnamed small-inventory language.
  • دشلی کیوی or دَشْلِی کِیوِی [dæɕ.liː kiː.ʋiː] is a name.
  • پأ دو سیرش or پَأ دُو سَیْرِشْ [pæ duː sɐɪ̯.ɾɪɕ] <NEG IMP-VEHICULAR-MOVEMENT embark> "Don't you dare leave!"
Alternatively,
  • דשלי כיוי or דַשלִי כִיוִי
  • פא דו סירש or פאּ דוּ סַירִש
(Forgive me if my niqqud aren't good.)

Currently there's an allophone set of [l~ɺ~ɾ~d] and I've been splitting that between graphical <l>, <r>, and <d>. Not sure if that's the best option.

Cool!

That second link doesn't work.

I like your choice of those scripts, they fit the feel of Kala very well. Have you ever tried a Mongolian script or 'Phags-pa? The latter would likely look cool.

I suppose now would be as good a time as any to point down this forum at my althist Greek.

One of my conlangs used a mixture of the Gothic and Glagolitic alphabet at one time. The modern version is written in Latin script though.

Here is the Lord's Prayer for example:

I use a syllabary based on Sumerian cuneiform for an IE conlang. Here is the beginning of The Hobbit:

I use hanzi for phonemic transcription of my "future German" conlang. Here is article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

So cool! If my current real-world project weren't 4000 years too late and on the wrong side of the Mediterranean, I'd be tempted to try that. :D

What ship would bear me ever back across so wide a Sea?”
