* I just gave a name to this feeling that I feel occasionally and sometimes intensely. It's like a feeling of being overwhelmed by the beauty and pain in the world, a sense of how epic life is. I usually get it in movies or from music (only very good examples of each), but occasionally just in moments in life that don't seem real. I get goosebumps and feel like tears are welling up. I'm neither happy nor sad but kind of both at the same time. I don't really know any word that comes close, except to say that it's maybe the counterpart to poignant.
