I'm kinda confused the land grab. Exactly when is the expansion supposed to take place. The original rules said the culture could be in any time during the history, so I chose for my sub-culture to be within Nespek before its collapse. Does the expnsion appear only in the "modern" times or do we assume the sub-culture was already expanded. (Maybe this wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't expand more than the size of the original culture... ) Also, I thought the Nespeks were dead... Maybe I should have thought of that too before I started. Anyway, however you want me to do it is fine with me.

I believe we've got up to 5000, but I'm sure you can set a subculture going in a previous era. I think we probably need a timeline added to the Wiki.

Anyway I claim Dr-7, Dr-8 and Dr-9 for the Da:zi, and if Matrix agrees, one of the adjoining E squares. The Da:zi will definitely try to expand into Tsargoki territory, but their success is an open question.

If you want to expand into an unclaimed square, just take it. If it's claimed, it'd be best to talk to the person who had it. But the idea of this round was to allow reversals and incursions— e.g. if Hydro wants to expand into Torc territory, that's fine with me.

Well, I gave the Tsargoki to Hydro ages ago, but apparently they are not participating any further in this, so maybe it might default back to me? I dunno.

As for my square, I'm claiming I-6r for the Tumatimarh.
