The word "a" is like the word "nwa" (one/a). It can mean both "nwade" (a particular) or "nwanwa" (a non-specific, any old).

I said all of this mostly just for something to say, which is my usual behaviour here. Also, I'm not quite sure on the conventions for glossing sentences that include bits of the language being glossed into. I decided, spur of the moment, to use square brackets... anyone know of am actual convention?

This is a bit awkward. Voicing in Wena is a register thing but not phonemic. Kala world be pronounced as the word gala, which happens to mean "adolescent girl" (PROS+woman).

That's not strange - Sajiwan is a Caribbean English Creole, and has English as lexifier.

Usually Wenafying names results in some funny things. Almost all possible syllables mean something so when put together, they end up with a meaning. Mazago means something like "What holder/wearer of something similar" so, not a whole lot of sense. Dyali comes out as "beginning device" ... I usually use i for extra vowels but sometimes I use an echo vowel, copying what ever's near it, and that would give Dyala ... which would mean "woman device" ... um ...
