I should translate something into Old Laqar; I would probably start with the Lord's Prayer or the Seven Kill Stele.

Thanks. I probably should've provided a literal translation of the Sajiwan as well (the English is from the Hobbit):

"For long ago king(s) and elves lord*
Much gleaming gold heap filled up the floors
Shaped day and night and caught the light
to tuck it up at bling** of sword"

*Proper Sajiwan would be "elf loh-dem" or "dem elf loh", but since the English is pretty scrambled as well, I think I can get away with this.
**Probably a way to modern and colloquial word for such an ancient song, so I need to change it.

(This is not typical Old Laqar, because Old Laqar is normally pretty strongly left-branching and SOV, and yet to follow the traditional (English) wording used here I needed to right-branch in places. This is also why I omitted the doxology, because I would have had to change the wording around significantly from the English wording I was following.)
