Zedoyt dhuyush cas ethey shoshif bilawo kam.
A city is a place where there are many houses.

For "a place where" I now have cas ethey 'place that exists', turning ethey 'to exist' into a transitive.
It was about time I changed this.

Garid er fall, had enn tadarach morr is twch, is gardh an it cloch
City is a place with lots of big houses and a wall of stone.

(note to self: "an" means "comprised of" but is a preposition not a postposition. The plural for "cloch" is "it cloch" - the stone - not "clochach")

Blackhill is centered in a valley which we call the Bearded Throat. Here, the black-spruce grows. Beyond the Mouth of the Throat there is gale and extreme cold.

(Also I've found when pronouncing Dwarfish to myself that there's a slight whistled quality to some of the vowels in some places)

Nah, not rich. But I have some friends at the Agre Màlzec, and it's thanks to them that I own the house in Labirença. It's a working place when I'm in the city; small but cosy. The house in the Terions is owned by a friend, but I use it more than him. The only thing I bought was the villa, and I don't regret paying for it, that's for sure.
