I went for a walk on a stalk of wheat, and it felt like a trillion feet.
(the culture of the proto-lang also uses feet as a system of measurement, although for them it's not the same length as our unit)

I already had those words for Tormoitt, so I came up with an expression that means the same:

pîd [coppa] pei piːn ... pəj (v) to share with, to divide among {lit. to pour [someone] a cup}
i me padîdi ia pei! i mə ˈpɛðiːdʑə ja pəj – give me some of that!; I'll have some! {lit. you'll pour me a cup!}
ta me padîdina mommon pei ta mə ˈpɛðiːˌðina ˈmomːən pəj – we'll split it up, we'll divide the spoils {lit. we'll pour each other a cup}

I see this has several meanings, so:
For the meaning "head of a school / university" and "title of a high-ranking administrator", the Tautisca equivalent would be poltunus "chairman" (< poltun "table", lit. "leader / chief of the table". For the meaning "mayor", the equivalent would be waicunus (< waicus "village") for villages and small towns or, again, poltunus for bigger towns and cities.

Do you mean socioeconomic status, or something else?

That's not easy... literally I guess I could translate it as:

dadam ascade sioddanchen ˈdɛðam ˈɛskɪðə ˈɕodːaŋxən - socio-economic status (lit. status it-is-social it-is-economic, 3s is unmarked)

which uses the following words:

dadam ˈdɛðam (n) status, standing, rank
adam (v) to stand, to remain, to withstand

ascade ˈɛskɪðə (v) to socialize; to be social, to pertain to society
asc- (pref) the act(ion) of..., the result of...
ade ˈɛðə (n) people in general, mankind; a group of people; crowd (homogeneous)

sioddanchen ˈɕodːaŋxən (n) trade, business; economy; economics
(v) pertaining to trade, pertaining to business; pertaining to the economy; pertaining to economics
siot- (pref) having a quality of..., the practice of...
danchen ˈdaŋxən (v) to trade, to do business
—→ dan ˈdɛn (v) to take (changing possession); take in one's hands
—→ chen ˈxən (v) to give; to sell (to disambiguate also o coper chen, lit. to give by making use of money); to exist (there is, there are; only if used in existential clauses together with the impersonal pronoun)
