This thread is about building new vocabulary. I'm not sure I believe that you didn't have a word for tree before now in Kala, since it looks pretty developed. What's wrong with having a separate word for "big tree"?

The Icastrians are polytheists, and their creator deity is a non-interventionist watchmaker type god. Consequently, they'd probably just lump deism in with monotheism, jokizhartorva [ˈjokˌɪzarˌtɔrva] or [ˈjokˌɪharˌtɔrva] (jok- "one" (cardinal jokte [ˈjoktə]) + izhar "god" + torva "custom, tradition"). In more sophisticated theological discourse, they might qualify it as kusarymathorshári jokizhartorva [ˈkʊsaɾəmaθɔrsˌhaːɾɪ ˈjokˌɪzarˌtɔrʋa], "Architect-type monotheism."

Poswa has a word wage which means "premature growth", named after a type of daisy that grows very quickly in early spring when other flowers are just getting started. By summer, it is much taller than humans and even taller than some trees. This word is one of the very few examples of bare /g/ in Poswa (usually it occurs as /gw/, and even that is rare. The reason for this is because all /g/ was deleted fairly recently, surviving only in clusters. Then, some of the clusters simplified in certain conditions.)

There is also bwabby which means "early puberty" and can refer to a boy or girl who develops into an adult earlier than usual (unpredictable, chaotic growth in children was common in the days when nutrition was unreliable). Wage is the more flexible of the two words and is what you would use when talking about something abstract, or of an animal.
