REASON PRONOUNS
Pronouns decline like nouns. "Near 1st" translates basically as "this reason; my reason". "Near 2nd" translates basically as "that reason; your reason". "Near 3rd" translates basically as "that reason over there, his/her/its/their reason". Compounding happens by adding -a to the root and then prefixing it onto another root, which is then conjugated or declined appropriately. In roots that end in -l, -r, or -n, there is no need for the added -a.

For example, the roots tralg and klem would be compounded tralgaklem. However, were you to compound tral with klem, it would be tralklem. Typically this is done with the base roots of verbs and adjectives, or with nouns, but sometimes, it is necessary to use a conjugation. In those cases, the Nominalization roots are used. Since they end with -a, anyway, they compound rather easily.

So, here's a sample of the writing system I'm developing. I'm basing it somewhat (somewhat!) on the way Korean works. All elements are phonological, but they get put together to form syllables. Unlike Chinese characters, words cover multiple blocks (minimum two). Exceptions to the syllable rule are declensions and conjugations. For example, the -eue (third-person present imperfective) conjugation fits neatly on in one block with the final consonant in the stem.

Vertical elements juxtapose, whilst horizontal elements stack. In some cases, the only place left to place a horizontal element is next to a vertical; in those cases, just shrink the horizontal element to distinguish it from a similar vertical element (for example, n and a share a shape, but n is a horizontal element, whilst a is a vertical element).

I've provided two styles: a print/block style, and a more naturally occurring cursive style.
