All consonant phonemes can appear geminate except pharyngeals, velar phonemes are actually pre-velar, and consonant clusters are pretty common.

Hi I have a problem with romanizing this vowel system:

/a ɛ e i/
/ɒ ɔ o u/
/ə ɨ/
/ã ɛ̃ ẽ ĩ/
/ɒ̃ ɔ̃ õ ũ/
diphthongs:
/aɪ̯ ɛɪ̯/
/aʊ̯ ɛʊ̯/
/aɨː aəː/

EDIT: oh also in reply to the previous reply.

/m n nˤ/ - <m n n'>
/b t d tˤ dˤ k g q qʷ/ - <b t d t' d' k g q qw>
/f s z sˤ zˤ ʃ ʒ xʷ ɣʷ χ ʁ ħ ʕ h/ - <f s z s' z' sh zh chw ghw ch gh qh qgh h>
/l lˤ r rˤ/ - <l l' r r'>
/w j/ - <w y>

/a i u/ - <a i u> (if there aren't <y> or <w> before /i/ and /u/ you can represent them by <y> and <w>

Most consonants+h are allowed clusters, how will you differentiate them from single phonemes?
EDIT: I probably should have mentioned that virtually all consonant phonemes can appear next to each other.

Very Arabic-y, yes, I know (though the convention for ❬q❭ is inspired by Mi'kmaq)…

Now, live from the top of the world (…or at least taken from Wikipedia…): JOHNNY CARSON Bzyp Abkhaz!

As for the vowels:
Wikipedia contributors wrote:Abkhaz has only two distinctive vowels: an open vowel /a/ and a close vowel /ɨ ~ ə/. These basic vowels have a wide range of allophones in different consonantal environments, with allophones and [e] next to palatals, and [o] next to labials, and [y] and [ø] next to labiopalatals. /a/ also has a long variant /aː/, which is the reflex of old sequences of */ʕa/ or */aʕ/, preserved in Abaza.

Here's one for you. This is not a real phonology, something I just devised for the challenge:

/m̥, m, n̥, n, ɲ, ŋ, ɴ/
/p, pʰ, b, t, tʰ, d, c, cʰ, ɟ, k, kʰ, g, q, qʰ, ɢ/
/ts, dz, tʃ, dʒ/
/ɸ, β , f, v , θ, ð, s, z, ʃ, ʒ, ç, ʝ, x, ɣ, X, ʁ, ħ, ʕ, h, ɦ/
/ʋ, j/
/ɬ, l/
/r/

/i, y, ɨ, u/
/e, ø, ɘ, o/
/ɛ, œ, ɔ/
/a/

If it doesn't come out on your computer right, the little boxes next to the m and the n mean "voiceless."

I'm curious to see what you came up with for this!
