I don't think that map gets hot enough in the hottest parts, so I will have to fix that up a bit.
Here is my progress on the elevation map (this is a low-res version; the original is 24000*13000 pixels):
I still have to remove the water from the western continent, and then I will have included all the high-res maps that were posted for this. Following that, I will have to make approximations (as I did for Detroit in this map).
The mountains in Detroit are so steep in order to accommodate the rather large Lake Erie, contributing to this rather unusual mountain range.

Those islands are one of my favourite parts of this.
If you want to contribute again, one thing you could do is fill in the topography of this map. Or, if you're not big into graphics stuff, make a rough map with some city names and placements and so on, and I can fill it in.
Does anyone have copies of those newspaper pages that Izambri did? He's removed all his stuff from this thread, but there was information in those (like the name of the capital city of Canfora) that I would like to have. I have no idea how to contact Izambri anymore.

I decided to make a list of all the presidents of Kluk. A presidential term lasts 3.5 years, and a president may hold office for a maximum of 3.5 successive terms (12 years, 3 months). Theoretically, a single person may become president 3.5 times, non-successively (meaning the maximum possible length of time a person may serve as president is 43 years, 9 months discontinuously), but this has never happened in the 254 years of Kluk's modern government.

I laughed out loud at this for quite some time. This is brilliant.
I originally drew Bland at a taller size and then compressed it vertically to fit the equirectangular format of the master map image. I tested it out on a 3D globe and it looks undistorted, so that's nice.
This project needs a wiki, I think. Can someone host a wiki or should I create a make a Wikia one?
Now for something different, here's a political map of South Centerica in the year 35200, which is 1095 years before the "present" year of 36295 (equivalent to 2013).
I incorporated available historical information where I could find it, and just made up a bunch of stuff for countries that the creators surely don't really care about.
I didn't really consider it beyond picking something from the history of Eritrea. I rolled back a few other countries as well...R is M, and Paagmiin is Pong.
