Any intensive conlanging work like that I will do on an actual computer, since tablets are a pain to work with. But, since our school issued us all iPads, I do use them often, usually to post on the ZBB. In light of that, does anyone know of an iP*d keyboard for IPA sounds, or how to make one?

Before. Downloading it, or judging it, you can check the YouTube tutorial.

Trust me, it is more than a useless product
It's been used by several people from "conlangs group" on Facebook, and they don't believe it is useless

You know it's incredibly bad form to give yourself a five star review, right?

I would like to try, but there's a paywall barrier. Now, I'm not saying that it should be free.
I'm willing to spend money on a software but it has to have quality that match the price point.
But it's just that... If I'm paying 5 dollars (I have spent more on many other softwares), I expect the product to not to have an interface that burns my eyes.

I, too, left the Conlang group on Facebook because it was getting too kindergarten-like for my taste. From Rusanov's harsh reaction, I gather that he is invested in that group and felt offended by H13's statement?

This form is indeed a lot more hostile than the Facebook group

.
Someone said that it is bad to give yourself a 5-star rating. My answer to that is simple. I believe in what we did. And since there is nothing remotely relative to conlanging on both Google Play and Apple Store, I believe the effort should be commended. Having said that, it is not really me who programmed it. I was just the "consultant" since I like conlanging and languages, but the designer is a friend of mine, and I believe that is obvious from the name that is posted.
Now back to the app. It is not perfect, that is a given. However, I found it to be very useful. I might be an imbecile is a programmer, but not as a user

.
In all cases, I am willing to offer it for free to someone from this forum to try it out and give everyone his/her feedback.
Any takers?

We're not as hostile as you might think. We just really don't sugarcoat things. That said, righteously indignant responses do trigger hostility and frequently dogpiling. I'm not saying you're being righteously indignant, please don't take it that way, I'm just trying to explain.

The ZBB isn't really unfriendly, as Drydic (Guy) says. It just has quite a few people like Drydic and Inversion

have you looked at the CBB? It's like a smaller, nicer version of the ZBB. If the ZBB were reddit then the CBB is imgur.
I did look at the price tag and think, hmmm maybe not, but if you're offering a free trial then I'd be happy to try it out.

Mandatory niceness. the CBB isn't as bad as Unilang in this regard, but there is a clear taboo against non-coddling criticism.

Generally the rule on the CBB seems to be that you can say anything once, but nobody is allowed to respond to you. There's a lot of unpleasant behaviour goes on there (albeit usually without swearwords), but nobody is allowed to complain about anything.

Wait, a conlanging program in the form of an iphone app? I mean, I'd probably buy it if it was on windows or linux or some real OS, just to try it out and report on whether or not its any good, but I don't own any apple devices nor plan ever to sooo... yeah. Phones don't seem like the appropriate plattform for conlanging, but it sure is nice to see a renewed interest in developping conlanging thingamajigs.
