Two things:
1. Normally, new cultures start only in one square.
2. Consult this climate map to be sure you really want that square. That area is mostly cool desert and steppe (this world has a whole lot of desert).

I'm cool with desert. I'll scoop the N5r then. I really just want the ocean front property.

The Zwera will expand to the coasts of O6 and O6r (near the Ďomün, En Soki), U5 (near the Apʰɯron and Nespek), and M7r (near torco's and personak's primitives). As for their home, the Zwera can be seen as inhabiting P9.

Keep in mind that the Domun actually occupy part of O6r (since P6 is mostly water). Also I can make up a detailed map of that area eventually, since I've already done part of it. Same for Burke's part.

What did I break and there by make a race of Dragon Helots?

I meant I could probably make a detailed map for your area too. I've probably done at least part of it already.

Has anyone taken the island primarily in the X 7 square yet?

I'd like to claim it, if possible. I have a little surprise in mind for the surrounding cultures. (A pleasant one, I hope.)

Melend, X7 is taken by Hydro's Ccuxu.

Drat! Okay then... how about the little island roughly at J -7? I only need a smallish place isolated by water. A single subtropical island would do nicely.

If that's not suitable (too close to existing civs) the very little island at A -3 would be fine.

There should be a line between Mecongai and kawdek's square, like there is between Dragolm and Ccuxu. Also, Hydro has Tsargoki, now.

ok U4r for Nespek, C5 for ex-Nespek (which for now has the same language so I'll count it as part of the two squares thing), then for Dekame E7 and F6r (their territory is a bit fragmented)

What happened to Tsargoki? It's huge!

I gave it squares before I gave it to you.

The only problem I see is that Qiqqit explicitly told me he was not participating anymore, so his square actually belongs to the En Soki.

Crap. I totally didn't bother making anything for those squares. Oh well. My successor will have a lot of land to work with.

Since I seem to be having trouble summoning the energy to participate, I'll forfeit my square if anyone wants it--I'd still like to maybe participate at some point in the future, but as things are that's not something that is happening.

I'd also like to un-grab my squares. Sorry to be a flake, but there was a sudden change in my work schedule. Good luck to everyone!

When and how do we scoop more squares up? I'd like to give a noble reason for my asking, but really I'm just gonna gun for more beachfront property. And I'm dosorganized.

It's been a while, but I think I'll just take Vr9 and W8. Sal hasn't said one way or the other.

He hasn't said anything to me either about Vr8 and W7.

I don't want to sound greedy, but if no-one else wants to take Alassion's (assuming that's what is meant by "un-grab my squares", and assuming he's giving these away) I'll also take these. I can attribute this sudden gain of land to the discovery of steel-making.

U -3 and between U and V -3
