Working on a system upgrade now to try and alleviate the problem. Something in the database server has gotten oddly brittle; this happened last night as well. The past several problems have had the same origin. Restarted everything, though, so at least the error message should be gone for a while.

EDIT: Upgrade's done. Cross those fingers, boys and girls.

Got it sorted out! There was a regression in some back-end code. Registration should function normally now.

I seem to be having trouble uploading an avatar. I have tried uploading both a .png image and a .jpg image, both of which are under 500x500 pixels, and both of which are under 1 MB in size. This is the error message:
error message wrote: File upload failed. Tried copying to "/var/atlas/pictures/avatars/150.jpg" from "null". Why is anyone's guess. Maybe the file was really, really big? Contact an administrator if you want it fixed.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Anthologi.ca was down from March to June this year, but it's up again. If you had a language there, you can recover the data now~~

Woohoo! Though I'm not sure how much (if any) data I had uploaded. I suck at uploading conlangs... :\
