The Fasimāķu Language

Post by Mednij »

Hello, all,

I've finally finished the conlang I've been working on for almost 3 years. I wrote a grammar (http://is.gd/kFc1sp) which hopefully explains all the features enough for other people to understand. It's supposed to be naturalistic to some extent, so if anything is "weird" or a "noob mistake" don't hesitate to tell me!

Thanks!

At a glance:
Split-ergative
Agglutinative
Heavy use of clitics
VSO
Dependent-marking
Base 12 numeral system

Example sentence:
Linakañ Ðūñbaķe fa 'Inwa 'ū gya nēnelagaiñ lu gya luñneu
lina-ka-ñ Ø=ðūñ-baķe fa Ø='inwa Ø='ū gya nē=[nela-gai-ñ Ø=lu gya luñ=neu]
debate-IND.PST-IPFV NOM=wind-north and sun on GEN=[strong-IND.NPST-IPFV NOM=ITRG on DAT=3PL]
“The North Wind and the Sun were debating with each other about which of them was stronger”
