[RE: Courses For Your Conlang] My Conlang Academy

Post by snappdragon »

So after a while of seeing the thread "Courses For Your Conlang", I looked around on the internet for an online course creator and found a website called Teachable. I'm currently trying it out and so far things are going good. You can actually make multiple courses as well, so that's good. I made a site called "Snapp's Conlang Academy". So far I have one course for my conlang Checkish that just covers the basics, and I only have one lecture that is published, but give it a while and I can really build this up.

Oh! I can also add other people as authors that can make their own courses! Which is cool because then my conlang won't be the only one on the site! Yay!

Considering it'd be a common courtesy, here's the link to my site (they call them schools): http://conlang-academy.teachable.com

EDIT: I just published Lecture 1 of the Foundations section! Go check it out if you want.

Can't wait to see you on there. One thing to note is that right now as I'm trying to get things to a more usable state I'm going to be doing a lot of editing with the course.

Ok, just reply to here when you're done, and I'll take a look then.

Thanks, I'm a little busy currently, but I think I can manage to take a peek next week.

Ok, finally had the chance to take a look, sorry for the delay (real life caught up). It's a nice site, and depending on how difficult it is to create a course it seems to have potential. Also, not unimportant, it should be easily possible to download the courses in some readible format, just in case the site is taken down etc.

I just logged into the admin account (mine) and found 3 new people. Awesome!

Oh, and for the downloadables for the courses, I want to do that. Give me a little bit to get some PDF files ready and we can do this.
