My mother's friend and I went out to pick strawberries a few days ago and came home with about 10 pounds/4.5 kg of them. Yesterday, we made a sorbet from the strawberries and from some oranges that's really delicious. Today, we'll be making a pie using both strawberries and rhubarb.

It's not Icelandic!

In Alakari: there are no cases in nouns or adjectives; adjectives follow the noun; the articles come before the noun; there are no subject pronouns; the verb must come first; there is no single reflexive pronoun; only verbs and personal pronouns have any sort of inflection; the numbers are base-12; the verb conjugations are characterised by what their stem ends in (which can be any consonant), and all conjugate in a near-identical way, apart from how they generate their past tense; questions are formed by a verb ending instead of changing word order; there are no phonemic unvoiced fricatives; the velar nasal is phonemic; technically there is a glottal stop; there is a /w/; the vowels are /i e a o u/ and diphthongs /ai au ei eu oi ou/, plus long monophthongs.

Quite a list.

Is it bad that I have written sound changes for the two most important languages related to my main language but not for the main language (Palethian) yet? I mean, I know most of the changes in my head.

(The first above is the proto-lang and the second is the descendent I came up with history for today. It looks Germanic but has more inflected verbs, no indefinite article, and a construct state. Also just about every final syllable has a schwa nucleus. Not anymore.)
