A long time ago the god Idyaw Biduk scooped up with a shell

Whence that mountain came the Sky-King Kayba

Re: Help your conlang fluency
A pair of example sentences in my Zukish grammar, from the section on noun incorporation and locative prefixes:
Jammrcëjamahrë.
in-mansion-girl-study-3.PST
He stalked a girl in the mansion.
Lëmmrcërümmarencehseme.
from-mansion-though-door-run-3.PST
She ran from the mansion though the door.
There's nothing about killing anywhere in the grammar that I know about, but there are a couple other example sentences about stalking...
(There are plenty of sentences that don't have such frighteningly long verbs)
Hmm...
Chemcdzijanlecgägnmüslaacuë.
3.F-BENE-ATTR-woman-naked-during-Spring-kill-1.PST
I killed her for the naked woman in Spring.
Well, that didn't help matters...
The Zukish word for naked is pronounced [lɛʧ]. Odd.

Re: Help your conlang fluency
I mean that when you have a language with such things as vowel length and moras and tones, rhyme is almost never found in natural languages. Rhyme is pretty much a modern phenomenon and maladapted to any language that is not 1. synthetic (rhymes are too easy and thus unremarkable in langs where the endings are all the same) and 2. simple-vowelled

you don't know what you're talking about.
Rhyme -- specifically end rhyme -- is attested in English poetry since as long as English has been English, as well as in classical Chinese, Arabic and Sanskrit poetry. So there goes every single thing you just said about "modern" or "simple-vowelled (ie no length or tone)" and even "synthetic".

Re: Help your conlang fluency
Also, rhymes in Classical Chinese poetry are of great value to Chinese historical linguistics, as they contain rich information on the codas in Old Chinese that have greatly withered in the modern dialects.
