Let be known that these are the official Hellesan names of some Castilian cities: Santander, Burgos, Logroño, Palencia, Valladolid, Soria, Segovia, Ávila, Madrid, Guadalajara, Cuenca, Toledo and Ciudad Real.

Sis nams na travardane gent idràs te irs na calce, manc Cantabrea (Santendre) è Mudairit (Madrit).
The names of provinces are the same than those of cities, the exceptions being Cantabrea (Santander) and Mudairit (Madrid).

È agets eu gent na ses iseres isarghines: Cantabrea, Castella Syede, Castella Naue, Mansye.
And these are the names of the historic regions: Cantabria, Old Castile, New Castile, La Mancha.

Yes, I use this thread to test conlang ideas a lot. This one I am using now is a more fleshed out.

We only got five inches of snow here.

(I'm still not sure how I want to handle locatives -- dgax with essentially a serial verb construction, qdgax with a subordinate clause marker, some sort of verb > adj derivation, or a circumlocution involving a nominalized locative. Locative statements are all verbs in Amqoli.)
