One of the first sentences I learnt in Tok Pisin was God em i as bilong olgeta samting ... translating back into English cognates, that's "God him is(?) arse belong all-together something" and means "God is the cause of all things."

Jal told me you guys talk to each other in the language you talk at home. He told me "you should visit them and talk in Sajiwan, it'll be fun!". I'm not sure I'm going to like it, but I'll try because Jal asked me. So here I am! I'm called Elisabeth, but most people call me Lisabes or Lisa. You can call me Lisabes for now. Maybe you can call me Lisa if I like you later on. Now I'm going shopping with my gals. Talk to you later!

Are you rude with me on purpose or what? Didn't I just tell y'all "you can call me Lisabeth"? Man, the rudeness! Oh well, I'll play along, Jal already asked me not to become angry quickly. Yes, I'm fine. I bought nice clothes a while ago.

Some background here: Elisabeth is from an upper class Sajiwan family, who is thoroughly spoiled (her parents are in real estate, and no doubt involved in money laundering and/or drugs trade), and has little patience for "sloma" (anyone not wealthy). Just to show she is sofisticated, she throws English words and phrases through her speech, as is typical for her cast. I thought that after lower middle class Jego, it'd be nice to introduce a different type of Sajiwan.
