I kinda want it to be a reference to "his language" (meaning me, of course). il being a somewhat archaic 3sg, and ya being a genitive suffix. But, I recently saw that it is a Russo-Slavic version of the name Elijah, so I might just use it as a working name for a while. We'll see.
