My feet are soaking wet. After a couple of weeks of sun, it's pissing it down today. I've just walked to the tobacconists, wearing a waterproof jacket and a hat. I'm not gonna translate this since it's late and the point of this message concerns inventing words which, ultimately, I'd have to invent a lot of in order to discuss inventing words.
Anyway,
How do you all usually go around creating words from other words? A bunch of you said for the Music question that you took "Airblurg" and "Bamp" and got "Aeblang" or something. My point is that you didn't just hack the end off of one word and stick it on the front half of the other and I was wondering what processes you follow when trying to combine two words to make a new meaning.
in kett, you don't go airblurg + blamp -> airblurgblamp, it's airblurgblampi because fossilized construct state now used to mark the second element in a compound
similarly, in german it is airblurgsblamp sometimes, fuck only knows when, but that is a natlang so
