*Edit: thank you finlay and masako. To clarify, qã is both a word meaning person, and a root used in reflexive constructions, essentially meaning "self". I'm not sure why I decided it should translate as selves rather than simply "all persons" or even just "everyone" since that's really all the word means. I was complicating things a bit too much myself, it seems.

this is the set of rules we usually follow. essentially, a space means a new word, a hyphen means a new morpheme (ie wordbit such as a root or a suffix), and a dot means a single morpheme that can't be divided in the target language but can in the glossing language (ie English with all the little abbreviations). there is a list of abbreviations that can be used on that website, but don't feel you have to restrict yourself to them. there are also a bunch of other rules that you don't need to worry about too much. (also, we don't really mind too much or at all seriously if you can't do it "properly", so relax!

for your one there, I'd go:

with the caveat that I don't really know what you mean by "allselves" - a reflexive of "everybody"? but since it's two words in English i've taken the liberty of showing you how the dot could be used. 1SG (you can also use 1S) is an abbreviation of 1st person singular. You could also write 1.SG (ie, one morpheme that carries a 1st person and singular meaning together) but this isn't normal. If 1st person and singular are both represented by a separate morpheme, you could write 1-SG. You'd do this if, for instance, your word for "I" is yudô, "we" is yuba, singular "you" is tudô and plural "you" is tuba – since here it is clear that "yu" means first person, "tu" means second person, "dô" means singular and "ba" means plural. However, if your word for "we" is something like "qȩnæt", it's completely different from "yudô" and you have to use the first way.

What do you think of the idea of creating a romanic language which uses the syntax "subject-object-verb" like f.e. in Turkish language? I doubt about it, because usually SOV is used in agglutinative languages
