Gankʷ
The angel made me do it.
IPA /ɣaŋkʷ˧/

Created this word while I was at Ogunquit Beach in Maine ... not sure if that's coincidence or subconscious influence, because none of the morphemes I used are new to the language.

"angel"
n "caused by"
1st person active voice past

No, no, you are wrong. The first film, from 1951, is called "The Thing from Another World", and is an adaptation of the 1938 novel "Who Goes There?". The next one is from 1982, called "The Thing", and is either a remake or another adaptation of the novel, whatever you prefer. Finally there's another "The Thing", from 2011, but this isn't a remake but a prequel, although also based on the book.
