I also don't really like cities either. Frankly they're terribly boring places to visit, and I just don't see the appeal in either living or visiting them.

It's practical to live close to the university, but that's the only reason why I live in a city.

In the Netherlands, there are stray wolves from Germany occasionally. Luckily there aren't any mountain lions in these parts. They are much more dangerous than wolves.
