Nice! Except that shit in the back you need to clean up, young man. But I like your sunflowers, and your bolting lettuce.

I've left lettuce to grow into flowers, they look quite pretty!
It was about time I changed this.

I like the dougse, especially its design roof.
Un llapis mai dibuixa sense una mà.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
funnily enough, that came out organically: I had a plate of that nice wood that, by the action of weather and improper storing, had bent: Since I'm too lazy to build a proper 'techo a dos aguas [como dices eso en inglés btw?... a proper two-angled chevron-shaped roof, is what I mean, I just used the bent wood.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
Es un "gable roof".

It's cute. But the dog'll get soaked if it rains even a little bit towards the entrance.

Yeah, you should cover the top end of the front near the roof with another board (also to provide some shade on a hot day)Astraios wrote:It's cute. But the dog'll get soaked if it rains even a little bit towards the entrance.

Stylish! Way, way more attractive than the doghouse my dad built when I was a kid.
I agree that the front is going to get wet next time it rains - even without wind, splatter is going to soak the front of that pillow. Got any more of that curved board? If not, you might consider moving the whole roof board forward 6-12 inches (15-30cm) and using something else to roof the back end of it so it doesn't look all inconsistent in the front. Also helpful might be a splatter guard on the bottom: a front piece that comes up about as high as the top of the pillow, if the dog will be able to get over it easily. This would also help keep the dog from dragging the pillow out to get completely soaked.

Good advice, guise. The splatter guard, Radius, might be a bit harder, because the dog in question is <as of yet> a bit on the small side... I'm not even sure its gonna be able to scale that ledge. Thankfully, its 6 months until the rainy season, so I've time to figure that out.din wrote:Yeah, you should cover the top end of the front near the roof with another board (also to provide some shade on a hot day)Astraios wrote:It's cute. If it can't jump even an inch off the ground yet then surely it's not old enough to sleep alone outside... Or is it a chihuahua?
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
The floor stands 3 cm above the level of the ground
and what is this about not being ready to sleep outside? its been sleeping outside since it was born
[note: our summers are long and temperate; 10 to 40 centigrade... it won't be cold until june]

No, if it's that tiny, I don't see how it's old enough to be already away from its mother.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
Wait 8 weeks or something before you remove it from it's mother. That's important,

And Nunavut! I put it on my car as a front license plate. I think I get lots of stares for it!WeepingElf wrote:They have bear-shaped license plates in the Northwest Territories? Cute!
