Lying still while someone's doing pleasurable stuff to you just makes some guys sleepy. I fell asleep once while someone was stroking my back.

It doesn't sound like sexual harrassment, just like he wasn't very active. Some guys are just like that.

As far as committed relationships go, most 18 year olds aren't a whole lot more stable, overall, than a 16 year old. Exceptions exist, yes (my girlfriend's brother and his wife have been together since they were 16, they are now 22~23) but by and large it's just asking for trouble.

Now short short term relationships and one night stands, if that sort of thing works for you, are rather different stories.

Ah. I was caressing his stomach and chest and stuff a lot. Gently, because I didn't want to have sex on the second date already. Which was a good decision since he turned out to not be such a good guy.

sure, but 16 year olds aren't children either... 14yearolds? maybe, i dunno. 16? most likely no. 18? hell no.

neither here nor there, but I think a lot of 18 year olds being fickle and irrational is that we expect them to be fickle and irrational, they seemed to do just fine at being adults when they would get into arranged marriages at 15 and sent to war at 16. aaa, the good ole days.

Yea, it doesn't. But that's what you get for buying vintage on ebay and not understanding head size. I'll make do.

It suits him, because he looks like the sort of person that would wear it.

I probably wouldn't wear it in public. Boaters are still on the fringe when it comes to the hat revival, sort like bowlers and top hats, they still look costumey. But maybe someday they will return. They are amazing hats and they do their job well.

So what's the job of a hat, other than looking spiffy?

I'm not just trying to join some kind of troll-pile here; that hat is really terrible and you shouldn't wear it.

That photo makes it look bad. It's called a boater or a skimmer and I wore it around yesterday, mostly to church because I don't have the balls to venture out far into public with it (without friends with me), but the reactions were mostly positive like nice hat! Most people think it's either Amish (wrong), or that I'm in a barbershop quartet (which is one use). They don't realise that this hat was all the rage in the 1920s and 1930s in the summer months where everyone wore one.

That was almost 100 years ago. You have worse ping on fashion than an 56K modem.

I can't have an appreciate for the fashion of yersteryear and mix it with fashion of today (without being hipster)? Most fashion comes 360 eventually anyway. You'll notice fedoras are back in fashion, and musicians have been wearing porkpie hats for years. Newsboy caps on white guys have made a resurgence. Thin ties and tie clips are back. I, among others, am taking the first leap in what hopefully could become the resurgence of the boater hat.

If you wear what everyone else wears you're a sad imitant anyway and I have no desire to speak with you further.

But if you only have one or two unique items in an otherwise normal ensemble, I don't think that qualifies for special snowflake status. I think in that case you need to dress from head to toe in something deemed outrageous by current fashion trends.

Quite right. Resitence is futile, you will be assimilated into the collective. All distinctiveness will be erased.
