As I was watching the DNC I was able to get some recoloring done so I recolored this photo of Cortlandt Street in New York City in 1908. What would become the future site of the WTC.

Black and white.
Colorized.

While I know thread necromancy is frowned upon, this seemed like the best place to put this.

Hvala. Notably, though, most of those banknotes are old-ish designs... except for the 50-dénar note, which I recently did (as in, this past week).

I think the old 1997-series Austrian Schilling and Euro notes were among the inspiration for these designs (in addition to the current Serbian dinar and Danish krone notes), so the fact that they look similar-ish is semi-intentional.

Excuse me if this question has been asked and answered before, but I'd like to know where the island your countries are on is meant to be located.

The short answer is that I've yet to really figure that out.

The longer answer is that, originally, I designed the continent/countries to appear in a separate semi-parallel Earth. Part of the issue, though, was that keeping track of dates and times and various other things was getting to be a bit tiring for me, so I just decided to do away with the parallel Earth aspect. Still have yet to figure out where best this goes, but I've built enough of the stuff and would prefer not to have do develop an althistory for existing countries/territories.

Also, in semi-asides, those travelling to Ilia are likely to end up with one of these:

Here's a new design for the coat of arms for my concountry (Miott / Rockall). The idea is the same as before: A mythical dragon called Emion, who represents both the sky and the ocean (wings and a scaly tail). He's the guardian of the country, but at the same time, the country is at his mercy.

And Ilia, too. There's also an Ilian visa and the accompanying stamps.

So, you've been to Telemor and Ilia, and your name is John Sample?

(Not that I don't believe you.)

At least mentally, even if not physically. (Though the picture on the visa is actually of me. It's one of the few passport photos I've had taken that I actually like!)

Also, money:
