OTTER
I think this is the OTTER + ICE one upthread that's broken?
[size=75]<Brel> most people here act exceedingly untrustworthy
<Rainer> It is the internet!

After ordering a pint of his favorite ale, Robert was perplexed when the barmaid replied that the fishmonger was next door. The Great English Vowel Shift had begun.

This reminds me of one of my RISK strategies. When I have my laptop available with Internet and someone is about to attack one of my territories (Iceland, for example), I google images of small furry creatures (puppies, kittens, bunnies, etc.) and try to guilt them. Sample:
"
This puppy lives in Iceland. If you invade Iceland, this puppy will die, because it's family will be unable to feed it because they will be in your internment camps. Don't let the puppies die! Save the puppies! Don't attack Iceland!"
agus tha mo chluasan eòlach air a’ mhac-talla fhathast / às dèidh dhomh dùsgadh
(mona nicleòid wagner, “fo shneachd”)

If we could find a linguist discussing on a TV show, with an otter coming out of nowhere... Well that would be surprising.
