DJ Krush - Slit of Cloud.

If anyone who speaks Japanese would be willing to translate (the singing ends at about 1:30 and picks up again at 5:00), I'd be interested to know what's going on in this song. Krush's work is usually instrumental, but it's interesting to hear the fusion of traditional Japanese styles (probably most salient in Beyond Raging Waves) with his brand of sort of downtempo electronica.

Daybreak's Bell by L'arc en Ciel (first opening to Gundam 00)
The best anthem in the world!
I agree, it's probably my favorite in terms of sound.

I haven't been able to find the Cossack dance, from :50 to 1:19. I've looked everywhere. It's still a great performance all throughout though, I enjoy it. I wish they'd come down here.

The Deutschlandlied is nice, I'm not denying that. But it's been so warped and torn apart, what with the first two stanzas being omitted and all. It just isn't what the guy who stole it from Haydn imagined it to be anymore.

The GDR anthem, on the other hand, doesn't even sound communist, and it would have been a great choice for a united German anthem IMO (save the whole it was used as the GDR's anthem part).

Farin Urlaub - Endlich Urlaub! (album; currently playing: Sumisu)

Also, the first two stanzas of the Deutschlandlied aren't sung because they have been and still are horribly, horribly misinterpreted by far-right nutjobs (what with Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, über alles in der Welt...?).

Primavera by Jose Merce. However, it's much more common for me to listen to German songs, especially Rammstein.
