杨臣刚 - 老鼠爱大米

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STk_KnepaY4

For some reason, it makes me really nostalgic or something (I can't quite place the feeling, but it's some kind of longing feeling...). It's probably in my top 5 favorite foreign language songs that I've ever heard.

I also love 香香's (haha...interesting combination of Chinese characters with English morphology) version of the song...here (not sure wtf is up with the video...hahaha...)

*edit* not sure wtf is up with the first video either...

Oh, this reminds me. There's an artist whose name I can't remember, can anyone help me with that? She had a song kalled Kiss, kiss or something, it was a cover on some Turkish song. It was really popular a few years ago. Searching for it based on the song title without the artist's name is completely futile.

There's a Turkish group of young women who write songs with titles such as Kiss, Kiss (just only in Turkish). Their name is Grup Hepsi.

Shining - Låt Oss Ta Allt Från Darandra

I listen to two totally different bands named Shining. One of these days that's going to confuse the hell out of me.

Renaissance/early baroque ftw.

L'Orfeo by Claudio Monteverdi was the last thing I listened to today. Before that: Mateo Flecha's Ensaladas, to be precise: El Fuego, La Negrina and La Justa.
