The real question is what the hell kind of teacher marks that answer as correct???
But the real irony is that the test is misprinted. The questions are all missing exponents on the variables :P

It's Christmas Eve, so here's a seasonal song from the Westboro Baptist Church - in their inimitable style:

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... Die Antwoord.

It's... it's just... it's...

Well, part of me wants to warn you not to watch it. But that's just the non-ninja part.

Probably old news for most of you, especially since human tetris has been featured here before.

Trailer for Every Oscar-Winning Movie Ever. See also Title of the Song. [LATE ADDITION: The Onion's some bullshit happening somewhere report is an instant classic of the meta-genre.] (I leave finding meta-blog posts-about-every-blog post-ever as an exercise for the reader. There's a lot of them.)

Ironically, this hilarious Bitch List led to plenty of bitching and the exposure of many bitches.

Gaze into the eyes of evil: the eyes of Sandra Lee. (Is "evil" too strong a word? Is it really?)

You will either find this totally funny, or a waste of time so egregious that you will hate the soul who linked you to it until the heat death of the universe. To which I can only reply: I'm in love with the seahorses.

But the link you should really click is Cycles.

Credit for one, but not the other, as is convenient

Post by Delthayre »

Jon Stewart last night performed a rather marvelous and incisive satire of Glenn Beck. The introduction may be seen here and the remainder of it here. The whole affair is roughly a quarter of an hour long. (N.B. This videos are not available outside of the United States, which is disappointing, but not surprising)

It isn't a perfect satire. The editting is sometimes slightly rough and, more importantly, in some ways it is impossible to really satire or parody Glenn Beck. Some American conservatives have done God's work in becoming so crazed and deranged that they have become bizarre and ridiculous than any comic effort could ever portray them as.

Incidentally, a good friend of mine's father is named Glenn Beck. Although said father of a friend is a Republican, he is in fact sane, sensible and generally reasonable, whereas the mentally unbalanced dancing monkey on the teevee who is also named Glenn Beck is either a shameless performance artist or a dangerous maniac.

Oh, Glenn Beck. I tried watching his show at work one time, and wound up having to change it to Judge Judy after about fifteen minutes.

I hope y'all know Team Fortress 2, because it's one of the best video games to come out in the last decade. If not, Valve has this great series of videos introducing the characters:
