Well, it's not like the book could be worse than Twilight either.

I think he's replying to a conversation from a few pages back, forgetting that there's been more pages since then.

I like getting compliments about my looks in non-lecherous contexts, thanks!
(It's the eyeliner moustache, isn't it?)

It certainly adds class.

Finlay - those are great photos, but are you sure you're not from the seventeenth century?

To me he looks like he's out of a Melville book.

Finlay, were those Jenga blocks provided at the restaurant/bar where you guys were hanging out, or did you bring them yourself? And did they ever end up falling?

Hmm you're right actually, I don't know why you reminded me of him... Maybe it was the angle?

it was a real-ale
pub , and yes/no/no; they were provided in the pub, that particular tower didn't fall over (it's a trick someone taught me) until we knocked it, and that's not Guinness, but it is a stout. It's the kind of pub that has different ales on tap every time you go in, so I'm buggered if I know what stout that was.
also this was after a wedding so that's why i'm wearing that getup – I'm also wearing a kilt.
