That T-shirt is weird. In a good way.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
It's actually a false-colour image - the T-shirt's purple. I kinda wish it was that colour.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
Oh.
But on the plus side, purple is awesome.

Why is there a tag on the sleeve? Is it even a tag?

Jesus. Did you just start channelling a sixteen year old girl or something?Viktor77 wrote:Yes haha, I'm on the right. And yes I seem to have found a boyfriend who not only looks like me but is almost my twin in every respect except he's a Capricorn and I'm a Gemini which are exact opposites and he can cook and I cannot and he's responsible and I am not lol.finlay wrote:Your ability to pick a boyfriend that looks exactly like you is uncanny, though. I think you're the one on the right, anyway. I mean, I don't actually know you, that's one main problem here.

Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
I've grown sideburns since last I had my picture taken. Pardon the narrowness of the images -- I had to edit out a friend who is very finicky about having her picture posted. Linked, because they're rather large images. I stand about 6'1" and weigh about 260 lbs., though I doubt anybody is curious, though it does mean that coat is very long.
In this one, I have a goofy smile.
My hair is still long, just falling so it isn't very visible for some reason or other.
Both pictures were taken where I attended university. I was there yesterday to meet with a few friends, one of whom (the one edited out of both pictures, actually) is going off to Korea for a year to teach. It was a rather impromptu trip, but I enjoyed it immensely.

I think that we might have the same overcoat. I'll grant that such garments tend to be relatively homogenous, but that looks almost exactly like my coat. I wish that I had a picture of it handy for comparison.

Well, it only has one row of buttons -- that tends to be something different -- and those on the sleeves (which are sewn shut) are only there for aesthetic reasons. The front pocket is also a merely aesthetic addition, though it does actually have quite a number of nice storage places. In winter, the thing was a convenient carryall when I didn't have to worry about getting my clothes dirty at work, which I now do.

I'm pretty sure that they're at least damned similar. BEAR WITNESS! (But not to my face in the second one; that wasn't supposed to be taken, but my brother is a shiftless photographer, I only present it because it shows the decorates buttons at the ends of the sleeves)
Whatever the case; snazzy coat!
A larger version is here.

(The gloves and hat were, in restrospect, rather superfluous)
Yes, this is a silly thing to fixate upon. Thankfully, my time is cheap and pictures are easy.

You're one bear of a man, Del. That beard looks like it could choke someone.

That does look a very great deal like my coat, and possibly even in the same size, if they come in different sizes. I couldn't find a size tag on the inside of the thing, but the other tags said Cashmere and wool, fabric woven in Italy, Made in FYR Macedonia and Lauren/Ralph Lauren, which appears to mean it wasn't made in China but doesn't tell me how big it is.

I envy you Delthayre. It is possible I might never be able to grow a thick, good-looking beard. Can I have some of yours?

Why would you want a beard, Rickard?
About 30-40 people from a forum that I've been a member of since 2006 gathered in Örebro for four days from the last Thursday to the Sunday that followed it.
We had our first gathering in 2007, and have had a couple of them since then. They're always nice to show up at. This is what I looked like the first day of this one:

Well, I have to be good for something. I do plan to trim it slightly to neaten my appearance, but I don't imagine that I could justify the trouble of shipipng the surplus to Sweden.rickardspaghetti wrote:I envy you Delthayre. Those are the same tags as mine. I can't find any indication of size either, but I'd guess that it'sa 48 or 50. I was apparently meant to be born a hundred years earlier to work on a dairy farm or in a blacksmith's shop, as such I have an awkard, bulky physical construction with body parts of mismatched sizes, put together at strange angles.Christopher Schröder wrote:That does look a very great deal like my coat, and possibly even in the same size, if they come in different sizes. That is, in fact, precisely how I always think of you when you post pictures (it doesn't help that you live [lived?] in a highly Amish area of Pennsylvania and write in your eccentric, 19th-century-ish way...)Delthayre wrote:I was apparently meant to be born a hundred years earlier to work on a dairy farm or in a blacksmith's shop, as such I have an awkard, bulky physical construction with body parts of mismatched sizes, put together at strange angles.
