I am undernourished, and I have been to my doctor, who said that my BMI was low enough to indicate anorexia, but I don't have that, because I eat regular meals. Fwiw I don't think you look particularily undernourished Astraios, you just look like a thin person.

I'm also surprised how by how "jewish" you look. You're like a walking stereotype.(no offense)
You just need one of those big hats and a pair of seaweeds where your sideburns are supposed to be.

I had an acquaintance with that problem once. As long as your health isn't imperilled by it, you should be fine, though if I ever met you I'd probably have the impulse to offer you food.Astraios wrote:I am undernourished, and I have been to my doctor, who said that my BMI was low enough to indicate anorexia, but I don't have that, because I eat regular meals. "You look pretty skinny. Have some chips."
Seriously, if you ever end up in East Anglia you can come and visit and I'll make you some.

Worried:
"You look a bit thin. Are you in good health?"
Average guy:
"You're so skinny! You sure everything's okay?"
The JAL way:
"You look like a starved drug-addict."

But he does! I have the opinion that anyone posting pictures here is up for criticism if not ridicule :).din wrote:Worried:

I believe the idea was that you can get an idea of what fellow members look like.
Unless you say things like "god, what's up with your nose?" when you meet someone new, I think the same level of respect would be appropriate in this context.

I think it's different for people you already know, but haven't seen yet. Have you posted a picture of yourself already? Then I can criticize it :).din wrote:Unless you say things like "god, what's up with your nose?" when you meet someone new, I think the same level of respect would be appropriate in this context.

I have, but not recently. Nor am I necessarily posting them to receive criticism on my appearance

Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
I am. Does the beard make me look like a twat? Am I unattractive, or just shy?
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
I don't find beards that attractive anyway, but yours seems to fit well with the shape of your face. I think you'd look slightly odd without one. (Though that may be due to my only ever having seen you with one.)
You don't look shy in your pictures, but you're not unattractive. Maybe you are just shy IRL. Or maybe you've been looking in the wrong places.

Finlay, for whatever the opinion of an ugly straight woman on the internet is worth to you, I think you're very nice-looking.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
You look like an OK dude, Finlay.
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5.
I haven't been without a beard for almost a year; I think I started growing it in December. This photo is from last August; it's one of the most recent ones with me without a beard – at least one that I think looks OK...Astraios wrote:I don't find beards that attractive anyway, but yours seems to fit well with the shape of your face. Meh, I'm able to give off an air of self-confidence or laidbackness but don't necessarily feel that inside. And I guess I haven't really been looking. I'm basically lazy. OH yeah, and I'm constantly worried about my weight although I'm not particularly unhealthy and therefore never do anything about it.
But thanks, all 3 of you.

You look like a really cool guy, Finlay! (I'm told that you are, too
) I think the beard rather suits you - you look quite a bit younger without it, your call on whether this is preferable
