I don't know if I'd do her, the photo doesn't show anything about her, other than clothes, a bit of eye, and like the fact that she has eyelashes and knees. Still, the photo is pretty, I don't know whether she is as well.

Then I suppose I've done my job correctly. Lolita is not meant to be titillating. It's sort of an odd angle -- the skirt itself really doesn't come down past my upper thighs, but I was also wearing a wire hoop skirt that screws up how the skirt falls when I sit.

nah, really, not that I think so, but because it's objectifying her, is the underlying argument, I reckon.

Honestly, I don't think objectification is a polar quality so much as a matter of degree, so that in terms of how objectifying they are, you could say:

ogling disembodied pair of breasts > ogling strangers > being primarily physically attracted to someone you know > being emotionally attracted to someone you know > wanting to have an extended interpersonal relationship with someone you know > etc.

If someone posted their picture on their blog, and then later discovered that completely unknown people on a forum they'd never visited were talking about how hot they were, I could see them feeling objectified. It all depends on who's in the picture, where it came from, and what their purpose in taking the picture was (or whether it was even taken with their permission). On the internet it's often impossible to know these things, and thus impossible to make that assessment. (Which is why I said, in your other thread, that there was a lot of missing context.)

Possibly interesting linguistic point: I read this as "I /wʊd/ just /wuld/ them" and couldn't work out what the fuck /wuld/ meant. I mean i take it ivo and astraios made some kind of weird verbing from the auxiliary "would" but it makes absolutely no sense to me or something...

I took it as an instance of the "I accidentally the whole thing" snowclone, where you drop the verb and an auxiliary (adverb, or here modal) is verbed. You then play hide-the-verb and insinuate about it.

I just casually went to look up "would" on urban dictionary to see if it was a really real thing anywhere else, and found this definition as well:

would

A word used in place of the word "did" to make the sentence seem redundant and foolish.
Despite "would" being the future tense of the word "will", it's used in place of the past tensed "did", thus making the statement ridiculous.

It doesn't. I just couldn't parse 'would' as a main verb at first and had to go back and read it more carefully. I understand perfectly well what he's on about. (And actually, Ivo used it first, so I half-suspect that it's an L2 error that only sort-of makes sense)

I was wearing a wig for the photoshoot. My hair isn't quite that long -- it's a few inches shorter now, and I dyed it red. I'm a historical reenactor and avid cosplayer, meaning I have a lot of wigs. I am a lesbian, but I am not fifteen. I'm not exactly sure where you got that idea...
