Well, strictly, it can - the problem with Ithkuil is that a little cough could make you confuse things as related as, say, "I made you a chocolate pie" with "I destroyed your house last night" xD

Basically I was not interested in languages in my childhood.
So if my 先生 hadn't asked me to make Akra, I wouldn't heve been interested in conlangery.

I've realised recently that my ideolect of English has whistled vowels, murmured stops, and a yodelled lateral fricative. I also have the habit of ending some of my sentences with a standing backflip. I thought this was pretty universal but apparently it's a regionalism??

you can make one out of clay, you know. I recommend lining it with plastic so you can wash it without it coming undone.

I prefer using brain (and it can be washed too)
