Yay! I love him too.

Ken Zazpi - Noizbait (but in Catalan, and I don't know the title in Catalan)
He is so cute. Maybe even cuter than Jan Riera.

So he's a Basque guy singing in Catalan? Nice. He has a good accent, very Occidental.Astraios wrote:Ken Zazpi - Noizbait (but in Catalan, and I don't know the title in Catalan)

Yup. They do have Basque songs too though, obviously. Basque is weird to hear. It sounds so much like Spanish on the level of the sounds, but then you can only understand the occasional Romance borrowed word. I like it.Izambri wrote:So he's a Basque guy singing in Catalan? That's because Basque influenced Old Castilian in its early development.Astraios wrote:Yup. They do have Basque songs too though, obviously. Basque is weird to hear. Kind of amusing lyrics here and there. Simply disgusting at some parts. I understood 99 %, though.MisterBernie wrote:Greifarnir - Frystikistulagið

Seeed - Aufstehn
Easy because I almost never listen to Englishy stuff.
It's either French, Sanskrit, German or something Celtic (usually Welsh) even though I sometimes do listen to Slavic and Icelandic stuff

Veronica Maggio - Jag kommer (there's also a video, but the sound is worse in that one).

Oh, I hate her.Qwynegold wrote:Veronica Maggio - Jag kommer (there's also a video, but the sound is worse in that one).
Her dialect is ugly, but that doesn't necessarily matter. Lars Winnerbäck has a terrible dialect, but he makes nice music and has a good voice, so it doesn't matter, but when Veronica already makes bad music, her dialect makes it even worse for me.
This is my personal opinion! Don't go berserk on me! I do have support for it, though. In a survey, Stockholm Swedish was voted the ugliest variety (Gothenburg Swedish won, and although I don't agree with that myself, I guess it's worth noting if you're curious).

Here's a list of some. Basically, quite a bit of Indian classical music is in Sanskrit (though more in modern languages).hwhatting wrote:Sanskrit? Any links?Darkgamma wrote:Easy because I almost never listen to Englishy stuff.
