I'm reminded of when my lesbian friend uploaded some photos from True Blood in which a really hot actress was feeding (i.e., had blood all over her face). Not that we're fetishists of any sort, but we already knew what the series was about and we weren't turned off by blood so we found her sexy as hell as she was, even if nobody else (non-truebees) who just saw the photo in isolation could agree (and they would if they hadn't seen the blood). Context does a lot on the first impression and can mislead.

Eandil wrote:Of course, that's why I said "and a part of sexiness is about aesthetics too". Aesthetics do play a role in sexual perspective, don't they? Not all is hormones AFAIK.
Then there's shades of sexual. There's "calentahuevos" that provoke a sexual reaction but lack substance, they're just all show, then there's that deep down organic sexy that doesn't need to be on show, and isn't designed to provoke a reaction all the time. It doesn't need exaggerating, it doesn't even need appreciating, it just is.

She is also sexy. *grabs popcorn and waits for the replies*
Calentahuevos (digo yo).

i.e. provokes a reaction but has no substance. :P

You don't have to have a fetish to find something that can be a fetish attractive. I don't have a pain fetish and I don't like being hurt, but I find some level of certain types of pain hot if it's already in a sexual context.

Cierto xD.

In my dialect, calientahuevos (from the phrase calentar los huevos a algn.) is somebody who makes you angry -sort of a troll, sb annoying- (c.f. hinchar los huevos, balls symbolizing your state of humor and heating up, anger).

calientapollas (from the phrase you can imagine) is what you described. I'm not positive but I think over there it's the same.

I've always been told that calientahuevos=prick teaser. Although there's a certain logic: a lot of calientapollas could be calientahuevos because they provoke frustration...

Just found calientabraguetas too.

Yep, calientabraguetas = calientapollas AFAIK. I heard recently the opposed term, which IIRC is calientabragas (a man who teases woman in that way), but this can be a very recent neologism.

Definitely not sexy, but oddly relevant here:

(OK, it's 45 minutes long, but these 45 minutes are awesome).

An album by The Dufay Collective that's mostly in Latin, or regional variations thereof. Old Spanish, Old French, that sort of things.

I've seen them live and they did a song that was in Middle English as well. I spent the evening playing "guess the language".

Proof that Dutchmen are actually Klingons in hiding (thanks Watt):
Heidevolk - Hulde Aan de Kastelein

All it needs is a translation into Klingon and life will be eternally perfect.

Rockfour - האיש שראה הכול
Awesome band. I've been listening to two of their Hebrew albums - האיש שראה הכול and העולם המופלא. (I'm never going to transliterate Hebrew).
