I think you misunderstand my intent. I was highlighting the hypocrisy inherent to the fact that Geert Wilders gets away with so much more than me. Everyone jumps on me every time I say anything remotely negative about the South or rural white as if I am talking about racial genocide. So why don't the courts subject Wilders to the same level of scrutiny?

hint: you have not being convicted of anything

hint #2: you are not hearing what people say to Wilders in nonpolite conversation

I don't think Mr Wilders is someone you should really be choosing as a role model.

You realize the gigantic flaws in your reasoning, right? Come back when you're a Dutch politician, being tried in a Dutch court. And if you want to discuss Geert Wilders, do so in a seperate thread.

So the courts erred in letting him off the hook? What he says is hate speech after all?

Dude, if you want to discuss the Wilders case, start a new thread. If you haven't noticed, this is the Quote Thread.

I really don't think they can be equated. The American right and the European right seem very different, at least to me. Nationalism isn't really a thing in American politics. (No, American exceptionalism doesn't count.)

I thought the whole anti-illegal immigration thing related to American nationalism and formed a parallel with European nationalism.

Cultural similarity in the ZB Be? I obviously object.
