So, Dan Ayrkoyd is hocking vodka and is also nuts.

Well, I knew about the vodka from when he hosted a 'bottle signing' at the local Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits store* that attracted a very long line of devotees and was extended several ours beyond its planned length, but I had not before directly observed the supernatural looniness.

*Given that, per tea party theory, something like the one-drop rule applies to economic systems, Pennsylvania has been a socialist commonwealth since 1934.

An interesting rendition of the jazz classic Take Five in traditional Pakistani style.

Petra Ecclestone is that rich girl who wants to be famous so she buys the most expensive of everything, but still can't manage to attain fame. In a demented way you kind of feel sorry for her. She's like that rich kid in high school who always tried to buy new friends.

It seems both Seattle and San Fran are both in danger, which disappoints me given how much I admire both of them.

An interesting rendition of Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach. Does anyone else find the name "Touch Wood" for the phone funny?

Yeah yeah, either a 7.0 on any of the many local faults or an 8.0+ earthquake of the Cascadia Subduction zone...

I'm glad I don't live there anymore, but also wary of the fact that almost my entire family lives there.

Plus, my mother lives in the San Fran bay area, in an area with the high possibility of liquefaction.

:(

well, "predicted" ...
there's no specific prediction regarding The Big One, it's just assumed to be inevitable.
