Great guy. Stadtaffe is the first German CD I've bought for years.Viktor77 wrote:I also quite enjoy a German band that sings in Spanish called Marquess.
And Peter Fox.
I've got the same CD, it's great. Tracks number 1, 2 and 6 are among my favourites.hwhatting wrote:Great guy. Stadtaffe is the first German CD I've bought for years.Viktor77 wrote:I also quite enjoy a German band that sings in Spanish called Marquess.

Ah, those are 1 and 3. I just love the power of his music, I don't even know how to describe it come to think of it.hwhatting wrote:Mine are "Alles Neu" and "Haus am See" (don't remember the track numbers).Viktor77 wrote: I've got the same CD, it's great. [nitpick]Anarkia is with one K.[/nitpick] I liked that one song, Me istutettiin yhdessä puu, or some such. I was really surprised to know that it's sung by Antti Tuisku, I couldn't believe that song is sung by a guy!Dauyn wrote:Rakkauden anarkkia - Antti Tuisku (Yes, it's Finnish twink-pop. ew. )
D'oh! I still mess up on gradation sometimes. But that's the dictionary form of the word, a loan-word on top of it.Dauyn wrote:D'oh! I still mess up on gradation sometimes. Heh, now I just have to look up the song I mentioned. Ahah!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjDJ5zVj ... re=related. OMG he's gone emo! But hmm, it doesn't sound the same as on the radio. :/Dauyn wrote:As for surprises of gender - check out Christophe Willem. He won a French Idol or somesuch, and in his video for Jacques a dit, I swear he's a woman in man-drag:

Love the song, and his voice, just can't believe he's a man.
If there's somewhere in there where gradation may apply at any time, I will probably pick the wrong form. I know about closed syllables and all that, and still get it wrong most of the time.
