Ghastly place. And okay, so I didn't give a beautifully constructed essay-format post, so hang me. It's been my experience that heterosexual men are extremely in-your-face about sexuality. Also, when you have heterosexuality being the norm, it is in your face all the damn time, because it is ""the normal thing"".

So, straight men and gay men are both being accused of being overtly sexual...sounds like to me that humans (or men, generally) are simply ""in your face"" about their sexuality...so, it's a wash.

I think there is a happy middle ground here, maybe where when one person says that another is attractive we don't have a dozen others commenting on it, because gay or straight it's annoying, and the fact that a lot of the people who are doing it are straight makes it seem like they're uncomfortable rather than open-minded. Also the endless clatter about the sexuality spectrum could probably go away, too, since literally nothing new has been said about it for years.

Fixed. And yes, and it makes it all the more easier for straights to say gays are being too in-their-face about their sexuality.
