This one just sounds bizarre in and out of context.

Why use "arbres dangereux" actively? It makes them sound like some sort of evil villain.

There is apparently a row of trees in Luxembourg that motorists keep driving into. So that's why they call them arbres dangereux qui tueront. Dewrad is probably right that it's because of brevity, but it is a ridiculous phrasing.

Remember that for most people in Luxembourg, French is not a native language, but a learned language, with probably a few idiosyncracies, not unlike India, but most probably less.
I'd have said :
"Ces arbres posent un danger et causeront des morts, si rien n'est fait."

I sorry I wasn't clear; my comment was not directed to Indian French, though I knew about the few Indian pockets. I was referring to the otherwise heavily accented English they have. Still, I'll rest happy that I got lucky with it.
Also, the Japanese seem to highly appreciate my English. I speak like a TV host, it seems. I must really sound like your average American TV host. Gods and Universes.

This just struck me as an especially awkward way to express that a friend of Steve Reinboldt, who is alleged to be the molestation victim Dennis Hastert was paying hush money over, told reporters he was a nice guy.

i imagine the crash blossom to be a flower that grows in the area where an airplane crashed, kind of like how morels come up after a forest fire, or those white flowers that grow on burial mounds in lord of the rings

Here's a small but funny one:

It can be interpreted in two ways: pope-DEF before court for sex-abuse (i.e. the pope is being sued for sex abuse) or pope-DEF establish-PRS court for sex-abuse (i.e. the pope establishes a court that deals with sex crimes).
