Totally unexpectedly, my mother came home with a pair of pilot sunglasses for me. Do they suit me?

whoa! isn't that like bordering on underweight?
Depends on how tall vampireshark is, I guess.
Last I checked, I'm slightly taller than 5'5", so about 1,65m. I don't know if that's underweight, though...
You're... a bit under half my weight. And only an inch shorter. Duuude. :(

well I'm 168 cm and 88 kg. Or 5'6" and a bit under 14 st. It's been hovering around that weight for ages. It could be a lot worse, yes, but I feel quite fat. It's also possible that I have more muscle than I think and that's contributing to the weight. I'm really no good at losing weight, been trying forever...

that makes a bmi of 31.2, which is like the highest it's ever been after measuring it. And I have actually been fucking trying this term, went swimming and everything.... although I haven't been in a couple of weeks because other stuff has been happening and I haven't exactly been eating super-healthily, although I'm usually able to get my 5-a-day. Gah...

Talk to one of these gym instructors and/or dietologists, they can work a diet + excercise progamme for you. And by diet I don't mean starving, you just have to combine food in the right propotions, eat less of some more of others etc, I've seen this doing wonders for two of my fat she-friends.

I'm in the same boat as Finlay, also we weigh about the same. I've decided that I'm no longer going to focus on loosing weight, but getting healthy. The latter makes for more of a mastery goal while the former makes for more of a performance goal and performance goals hardly last. To do this I'm beginning a regimen of working out 50 minutes every morning from 7:30-8:30 before work. I've also managed to avoid pop. The hardest part will be food, not so much avoiding bad food but eating good food. I don't know what to eat.

Not exactly. Haha. Hadn't even thought of her. I have to see those movies again. Both the cartoon and the live action one.

Awesome. I'll have to find a good day to watch it, and do so.
