I'm told it's all waterproof. The TV has 4 layers of protection or something. Myself, I'm more curious about the koi pond adjacent the hottub which is not pictured. I can't imagine how one winterises a koi pond.Xephyr wrote:How in shit does that setup not get fucked halfway to hell after a year or so of snow and rain?
I go to the gym 3 times a week. To keep my heart healthy I bike to work.Dampantingaya wrote:Nils: What do you do to gain? Sports? (Since I'm not doing any training I guess I could need some anyway, just for enduringness)
I find that to be the easiest way of exercising. It's flexible ('cos my shifts at work can be all over the place) and you know, you have to get to school or work somehow.
I don't work out for longer than 60 mins. Just make sure you don't take much time between your sets and warm up well. Short and heavy is better if you want to gain weight, longer and lighter (>12 repetitions) is good for strength building.
Regardless, it takes forever to gain weight if you have a metabolism like ours. I eat at least 5 times a day (which, granted, keeps your metabolism going-- if you were interested in becoming a sumo wrestler you'd have to go for a small number of large meals, preferably followed by sleep ...)
Also make sure to have a proper breakfast right after you wake up (even if you don't really intend on working out), because your body likes to break things down in the morning if there's nothing in your stomach. Especially muscle.
I'd rather you verify the above with some actual research before you start believing it though. When it comes to dietary advice, the amount of crap out there is immense.

Viktor, excellent, thank you.
Dampantingaya, how do you feel about those who fancy you but you don't fancy them back? Do you have gay friends? Do you assume they necessarily fancy you?

Whoa, a movie theatre? Now that's wealthy. Does this guy know a urologist, by the way? They have a bar, exercise room, movie theatre, etc. in their basement. That's why it's the perfect house for a party haha! BTW he's a cancer doctor.

He's wealthy but I've never been able to determine just how much he makes.Eddy wrote:Whoa, a movie theatre? Now that's wealthy. I don't know, probably. Why? Besides any doctor he'd know would be in Saginaw.

I said this because of the way Viktor often talks of those exchange people. I have one gay co-student and one that I think might be bi, and I get by well with both of them. Also, I'm aware that gay people have their preferences just like straight people and don't find every other man sexually attractive.Viktor77 wrote:This is a good point. Why do straight men always think gay men fancy them? Do I sense an ego?

You don't have to defend yourself, I'd never assume you would do such a thing. But it was an ample opportunity to ask the question generally as it seems to be quiet true in other circles.Dampantingaya wrote:I said this because of the way Viktor often talks of those exchange people. It's not so much of an ego as much it's insecurity, men DO know the sort of thoughts THEY have for women and when they realise THEY are at the receiving end of the same sort of perversions, *MWAHAHAHAHAHA*Viktor77 wrote:This is a good point. Indeed. After all, god forbid that anything attempt to imply that they are anything less than straight, masculine men...Io wrote:It's not so much of an ego as much it's insecurity, men DO know the sort of thoughts THEY have for women and when they realise THEY are at the receiving end of the same sort of perversions, *MWAHAHAHAHAHA*Viktor77 wrote:This is a good point. Io's not wrong here. I know that if women could read my mind I'd be the tougher man on earth, on account of all the smacking I'd take on a regular day. Of course, what one has to remember is that those are only fleeing thoughs, and not stuff one would act upon [I mean not because I look at a woman and think "hey, honey, how about I spend myself between your love-mounds?" doesn't mean I'm actually going to... then again, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't either]. I, however, don't much have trouble with attracting gay guys, either because I'm such that gay guys don't find me attractive, or because I don't know a bunch of 'em.Io wrote:It's not so much of an ego as much it's insecurity, men DO know the sort of thoughts THEY have for women and when they realise THEY are at the receiving end of the same sort of perversions, *MWAHAHAHAHAHA*Viktor77 wrote:This is a good point. This makes *SO* little sense, you're clearly *SO* confused you *OUGHT* to be of the gay persuasion.Torco wrote:Io's not wrong here. To "be of the/a X persuasion" is simply a circuitous way of saying "be or follow X". So I could be of an engineering persuasion, although ironically a more idomatic expression would be to say that I was of an engineering bent
