Re: The Official ZBB Quote Thread
I think you misunderstand my intent. I was highlighting the hypocrisy inherent to the fact that Geert Wilders gets away with so much more than me. Everyone jumps on me every time I say anything remotely negative about the South or rural white as if I am talking about racial genocide. So why don't the courts subject Wilders to the same level of scrutiny?

I don't think Mr Wilders is someone you should really be choosing as a role model.Eddy wrote:I think you misunderstand my intent. You realize the gigantic flaws in your reasoning, right? Come back when you're a Dutch politician, being tried in a Dutch court. And if you want to discuss Geert Wilders, do so in a seperate thread.Eddy wrote:So why don't the courts subject Wilders to the same level of scrutiny?

I really don't think they can be equated. The American right and the European right seem very different, at least to me. Nationalism isn't really a thing in American politics. I thought the whole anti-illegal immigration thing related to American nationalism and formed a parallel with European nationalism.Nortaneous wrote:I really don't think they can be equated.
